A grapple can transform what a compact tractor can accomplish, but traditional grapple setups usually require a third-function hydraulic system, additional hoses, and another control. That added cost and complexity does not make sense for every tractor owner.

A need conventional mechanical grapples did not solve
Some mechanical grapples allow the rake to remain loose until it contacts the loader arms. Others rely on bolted rake positions that add adjustment steps and wear points. ANBO set out to keep the simplicity of a mechanical attachment while creating more predictable rake movement and material control.
The result is a linkage system that uses a bar through the loader’s open cross tube and an adjustable link to control the rake position.
How the CLASP‑IT™ works
The operator approaches the material and uses normal loader lift and curl movement to engage the grapple. The mechanical linkage guides the rake so it can close around and retain the load without a third-function control.
Because the rake position is controlled, the attachment feels intentional from the operator’s seat instead of behaving like a loose top section. The design also allows the rake position to be adjusted for different machines and tasks.

Strength without unnecessary attachment weight
The 60-inch CLASP‑IT™ uses 3/8-inch USA-sourced AR400F steel, 9-inch tine spacing, quality welds, and greasable pivot points. It arrives assembled and is built with the mount, spacers, and linkage required for the confirmed loader.
At approximately 322 pounds, it is proportioned to give smaller tractors useful grapple capability while preserving as much loader capacity as possible.
Why loader fitment must be confirmed
The mechanical linkage depends on loader geometry. The loader needs an open cross tube, and ANBO reviews the cross-tube dimensions, pivot position, mount, loader model, and clear side photos before placing the attachment into the build schedule.
A loader lift capacity of at least 1,000 pounds is recommended. Mechanical self-leveling loaders and loaders without a suitable open cross tube may not be compatible.

Know when a hydraulic grapple is the better tool
The CLASP‑IT™ is built for controlled material handling and property cleanup. It is not intended for digging embedded roots or rocks, larger commercial machines, or tractors above its intended horsepower class.
For aggressive digging, higher production demands, or larger machines, an ANBO hydraulic grapple offers the added control and strength the work requires.
